Visa – a leading payment processing company – has completed its acquisition of CurrencyCloud for the impressive sum of 700 million pounds, or about $925 million. In a press release, Visa, a payment processing company, announced the completion of its acquisition of CurrencyCloud.

CurrencyCloud is a platform that allows banks and fintech companies to provide currency exchange solutions for cross-border payments. The acquisition is worth 700 million British pounds, or about $925 million, according to the deal, which was signed back in July of this year. CurrencyCloud also confirmed the news via its Twitter account. It's also worth noting that CurrencyCloud entered into a partnership with Ripple back in July 2020. The main focus of this partnership is processing cross-border payments on RippleNet.
