
On January 21, employees of Rosseti Moscow Region's branch in Moscow discovered a mining farm with signs of unaccounted-for electricity consumption. This was reported by the company's press service.
The farm, consisting of 50 servers, was located in an uninhabited building near Starokoptevsky Lane in a closed guarded area. The owners connected the devices to a transformer substation on their own;
According to preliminary measurements, the consumed power of the equipment was 130 kW.
Now law enforcers are conducting an initial investigation and establishing the amount of property damage;
The owners of the mining servers are wanted. If proven guilty, they face imprisonment for up to five years.
